WWE NXT Review 14/11/2013 (by Connie Williams)

This weeks NXT was brought to you from Full Sail Uni, Winter Park, Florida and commentating was Byron Saxton, Tensai and William Regal. Awright boayzies.

I have to say I've been abit so so with NXT the past few weeks, the best stories are anyhing the women are involved in, the best matches are the long but certainly entertaining main events but everybody else is squashing or being squashed. Anyways I best get to reviewing this weeks show.

Bayley and Charlotte v Summer Rae and Sasha Banks

Wee Bayley gives Sasha a heedband, but Summer just throws it to the ground because she's a heel and heels do that shit. Before anything else can happen Charlotte gets in the ring and kicks Sasha down. Charlotte gets Sasha in a hammerlock and knees her in the arms a few times, this gets her a two count. Bayley is tagged back in but she's driven to the heel corner by Banks who tags in Summer. Summers just fabulous ae? Bayley takes Summer down with a firemans carry but Summer gets right back up and decapitates Bayley with a beautifully brutal clothesline and this gets her a wee two count. After a quick break Sasha has Bayley in a chinlock. Summer is tagged in and chokes wee Bayley with the ropes before locking in a full nelson with her LEGS, her long silky glorious legs. Bayley manages to roll away but is dragged right back to the corner by Banks.Charlotte doesn't seem ersed in the slightest about making a tag. Bayley grabs Sashsa and connects wih a belly to back slam, she crawls over to her tag Charlotte who slaps her right in the puss. Sasha connects with the flipping cutter on Bayley and gets the 1,2,3.

Not a bad wee match, but incredibly predictable, the Charlotte heel turn was obvious from the moment she made her way to the ring with her Kaitlyn dyed hair. The highlight of the match was Summer Raes full nelson using her legs, it looked great and it looked painful, job well done hen. All I want is for Summer to come over to mine for a wee sleepover so we can do each others make up and hair and bitch about everyone who isn't us.

Next we see Aiden English warming up his voice, or should I say me, warming up my voice. If you don' know this already I'm actually Aiden English in my spare time, and I am fabulous.

Camacho vs. Aiden English

English gets a huge pop as he sings about how all the fans adore him, I mean I get a huge pop...Regal admits he has a crush on English, which had me marking out just a wee bit. Aiden takes Camacho into the corner for a wee bit stomping. Camacho connects with a slam, this gets him a two count, he then runs into Aidens elbow coopin first. English then gets caught with a belly to back suplex and a legdrop. Camacho gets English up on his shoulders but English slides down his back and connects with the Director's Cut for he 1,2,3.

Decent match, but to tell you the truth I wasn't even aware that Camacho still had a job. He wasn' too bad, impressive set of power moves and well, I just love Aiden English. I like how much he's over with the fans, the crowd treat him like a face but he wrestles like a heel. Aiden gave the crowd an encore of the song he sang himself in with which got the loudest pop of the night. Lovely. Regal gives him a standing ovation and starts greeting, normally something like that would just be a wee fantasty, but no, it actually happened and it was beautiful.

The mysterious blonde, Lana and Rusev have a wee chat, but in Russian, coudlny tell you what was said, he's flexing away like a dafty while she was caressing his upper body. Really, really interesting stuff..........

Danny Burch vs. Mason Ryan

Burch jumps Ryan from behind to start things off, and he uppercuts Ryan to the corner but Mason connects with a running clothesline and a few heedbutts but Burch just punches him down but Mason is having nane of that and hits him with a big boot and connects with a cobra clutch slam to get the 1,2,3.

Yawn. I find both of these guys incredibly boring, and the crowd certainly agreed with me. Burch is ok, his brawling style looks pretty convincing, i'll give him that, but ask the guy to do anything else other than a punch then he's fucked.

Next we hear that Bo Dallas is coming home next week. I canny help but be completely biased and tell you all that I give absolutely no fucks about this whatsoever. You know when you just hate someone, for no real reason, it's just the way it is. Shane Douglas and Bo Dallas are my two. He is a creepy bastard, which would normally be right up my street but he's creepy in a still gets breast fed kind of way. No thank you.

Next is the much anticipated main event.

Corey Graves v Adrian Neville in a 2 out of 3 falls Match.

Neville starts things off by hitting a quick dropkick for a wee two count, he walks jaw first into an elbow from Graves and this floors him. Graves connects with a belly to back suplex for a two count. Neville connects with a few foreairms, he then with a side roll then flipping forward twice and jumping to the apron gets a two count. He kicks Graves in the dome and this floors him, he connects with the Red Arrow and this gives Neville the first fall.

Graves manages to get to his feet but gets out the ring for a breather, he's nackered awright!? Neville's no having any of this though and he gets right to chopping him and a knee lift. Once both men are back in the ring Neville goes for another Red Arrow but Graves smartly rolls away. Graves then shakes the ropes and this sends Neville to the outside floor. Neville shows that this has hurt his bad knee, Graves takes advantage of this and brings Neville back in the ring to work on his knee. We take a break.

Once we're back we see Graves battering Neville's chest, this gets him a two count, he then wraps the bad knee around the post, he locks in a half crab for what seems like 7 and a half years but eventually Neville kicks him off. Graves then chop blocks him down and locks in Lucky 13 and this gives him he second fall.

At this point Neville's knee is buggered, he tries to pull himself up in the corner and then uses his good leg to stop Graves who charges for him.

Graves connects with some shoulders in the corner, Neville then manages to escape a spinebuster and kicks Graves in the dome and that sends him to the outside. Once back in the ring Neville chops and punches Graves in the corner but his knee just gives up on him. Graves then goes for another chop block but Neville hits a low dropkick to Graves dome instead, which was an impressive counter, it gets him a two count. Neville then attempts the Red Arrow again, but his wee knee is in too much pain and he falls to the floor. Graves locks in Lucky 13 again but Neville manages to crawl to the ropes. Graves goes to lock it in one more time but Neville rolls him up and gets the win. Meaning Adrian Neville wins this one.

This was a really good main event. I enjoyed Graves in this, he used smart psychology throughout and he looked sadistically happy when he saw his former tag partner adjust his knee brace who was obviously in a lot of pain. I'm enjoying the heel turn, I enjoy his in ring work, his promo work and the look. Everything about him appeals to me whereas Neville doesn't show much emotion in the ring, which just makes it somewhat difficult to connect with him as a performer, especially in a storyline like this one.

Overall a not to bad show, my only complaint being that it took until the end for things to get really good.

Connie will be reviewing NXT every week, unless she skives or suhin. If she ever skives, i'll either cover it or ye can just watch it n draw yer ain conclusions ya lazy sunsabitches.
