Jesse
Sorensen V Tommasa Ciampa
This
was wee Jesse Sorensens ROH debut, he gets a decent wee pop as he made his way
tae the ring, the crowd go daft for Ciampa, who wis making his return efter
been oot for a month. Code of Honour afore the match begins. Sorenson and
Ciampa lock up, Sorensen gets a waist lock in but Ciampa stays on his feet
cause simply put he is a tough bastart. Ciampa puts Sorensen in a side heed loack
and shooder tackles him on his erse but Sorensen gets right back, no bad son.
They lock up again but Ciampa gets aner side heed loack on the go. He shooder
tackles Sorensen, Sorensen is attempting tae get back up but Ciampa shooders
him right back doon to the mat again. Ciampa then attempts the Kryptonite
Crunch wee Sorensen wasny having any ae that though and counters it wi a braw
sunset flip for a near fall. The boays loack up, Ciampa backs wee Sorensen inty
the corner and chops him but Sorensen chops him right back. Ciampa connects wi
a cravate then slaps Sorensens coopin. Ciampa avoids a punch fae Sorensen.
Sorensen connects wi a drapkick and punches Ciampa abit. Sorensen then
connected wae a lovely leaping leg lariat and a drop kick. Wee Sorenson slaps
Ciampa and follows that up wae an Irish Whip. Sorensens then sent tae the
apron, Ciampa then knocked Sorensen aff the apron to the flare wae a knee.
Ciampa goes straight efter the boay and connects wae a foreairm to Sorensens
wee back, and then starts exposing the flare, cause he's a raj. Ciampa went tae
suplex Sorensen oan the exposed flare but he manages to land on his feet and
gets himself back in the ring then connects wi a braw Pescado. After a wee
break we see Ciampa connect wae a clothesline tae Sorensen, nearly a 3 count,
but no quite eh. Ciampa connects wi a foreairm and sends Sorensen oan his erse.
Sorensen connects wae an uppercut but Ciampa kicks him in the airm, Sorensen
connects wi a neck breaker and then with a few swinging neck breakers for a
near fall. Some match so far, no bad atall. Sorensen is looking better than
ever. Sorensen gets Ciampa up on his shooders but Ciampa hits him wae some
elbys and manages tae get back doon tae the mat. Ciampa goes for a full nelson
but Sorensen drapped doon and got a near fall wi a cheeky roll up. Sorensen
then connects wi a lovely wee enzuigiri. Ciampa connects wi a Burning Hammer
for yet aner near fall. Ciampa wi a foreairm tae Sorensen in the corner and
follows this wae an Irish Whip. Sorensen hits Ciampa wi an elby. Ciampas no
having any ae that though, he pulls doon his knee pads and connects wi two
running knees to Sorensens heed. Sare. Ciampa then gets wee Sorensen up on his
shooders and goes er tae the turnbuckles for a super Kryptonite Crunch, which
would have been quite braw but Sorensen stops this fae happening and connects
wi a sunset flip power bomb instead, which was a worthy replacement. Ciampa
geez Sorensen a wee kick and goes for the Project Ciampa but Sorensen smartly
escapes. Ciampa then applied the Sillician Stretch and Sorensen had nae choice
but tae tap. Giving Ciampa the win.
Sorensen
looked awfy gid in his ROH debut, folk were aw saying that Sorensen didny
belong in ROH, that he wouldny be a good fit, his catch wrastlin wi Ciampa and
early mat grappling surely proved these people wrang. He fair impressed me, the
wee scone that he is. He took some hard faws anaw showing us his necks awright,
it's no gonnae haud him back fae hee haw. Ciampa looked gid tae. This was an
overall solid stert tae the show.
We
take a look at what yon Outlaw ink have done since their return to the company.
That sets us up for the next match.
Outlaw
Inc- Eddie Kingston and Homicide v Adrenaline RUSH- ACH and Tadarius Thomas
Kingston
and ACH stert hings aff, Kingston gets ACH wi a waist lock take doon. ACH got
tae his feet then Kingston goes for a cravate. ACH locks in a side heed loack,
then Eddie gets ACH wae a side heed loack of his ain. Kingston shooder tackles
him then then connects wi an airm drag take down. ACH hits Kingston wi a
dropkick. Kingston sends ACH tae the apron but ACH connects with a lovely
enzuigiri and then goes up tap for an elby. ACH hinks aboot diving tae the
flare but Homicide and Kingston smartly get oot the wiy. Homicide works on ACHs
leg fi the left turnbuckle, and then tags in Kingston, he goes straight tae
work on ACHs knee. Kingston locks in a cloverleaf but a slightly modified wan
but ACH gets tae the ropes. ACH punches Kingston a fews times but Kingston
connects wi a foreairm and tags wee
Homicide back in. Kingston geez ACH injured hamstring a wee slap. Homicide then
put ACHs legs in the ropes and continues to batter fuck oot the hamstring.
Homicide got a step over toe hold on the go then applied an STF and that was
followed by a fish hook. ACH connects wi Paydirt. At this point baith men are
doon. ACH managed to kick Homicide away and tag in his partner. Thomas goes
after Kingston and Homicide wae a kick. Thomas then gets a cheeky wee roll up,
nearly a three. Thomas then kicks Kingston and then hits him with a foreairm.
Homicide geez him a wee kick. Thomas then connects wi a suicide dive ontae
Kingston efter Homicide irish whips him. It was braw. Aw the action you could
ever want. If you've not watched this then you should go hae a wee word with
yersel. Homicide connected wae a back heel kick and then goes for a tornado
DDT, Thomas puts Homicide back on the turnbuckles though, and connects wi a
foreairm then hits an absolutely perfect superplex, this only got a near fall.
Gid match is gid. Homicide connects wae a neck breaker and Kingston connect wi
a sliding D on Thomas for aner near fall. ACH attempts tae batter Kingston, but
he's hurt, sare leg yi see. Homicide kicks Thomas and sets him up for the Cop
Killer, Thomas manages tae escape and he runs Homicide inty the corner. Thomas
sets up Homicide for aner superplex but Kingston manages tae save his tag team
pertner. Homicide then connected wi the super bulldog which got Outlaw Inc the
win.
This
was a solid tag match. You'll enjoy it, gee it a swatch. Trust me. Eddie got on
the mic efter the match calling reDRagon a bunch of pussies. And that's that.
Next
we see a vidja package highlighting aw ra chaos surrounding the ROH world
championship & the bold Jay Briscoes struggle to get back in the ring. This
is aw building to nexts week show, as Adam Cole and Michael Elgin will step
inty the ring and Briscoes promised he'll be there and will kick Coles 'pretty
little ass'. We'll see. The world championship picture is quite braw in ROH the
noo, deny this and yer obviously a mentalist. The three guys involved each
deserve tae be champ. Aw different personas gawn oan and three different
reasons as to why they deserve to be champ. It's braw storytelling, the
brawest.

wilny believe how excited I am tae be writing about the next match, because it
was truly spectacular. See me, I'm the biggest Paul London mark oot, I
absolutely adore the guys in ring abilties. If you are baffled as to why I am
such a huge fan of London, then this is a match you should definitely watch. I
command you to. It'll change yer mind about the guy. If you regret it, i'll
make yi some hame made soup, a big sunday dinner and a wee cheesecake for
efterwards, a full three course meal for letting yi doon, but I am so fucking
certain that if you gave the match a chance you to, would be a huge fan of
London, am telling yi. So here we go.
Paul
London v Roderick Strong.
The
boays loack up, Strong gets a waist lock on the go. London connects wae a
standing switch and take doon. They hink aboot gawn for a wee test of strength
but Strong instead connects wi a take doon and front face lock. London wi a
take doon and that gets him a near fall. This time the boays go for the test ae
strength, then London kicks Strong in the dome. Strong connects wi a shooder
tackle, after he does this he leapfrogs so London connects wi a braw dropkick,
that sent Strong tae the flare. London then hits a lovely Pescado ontae Strong.
There's a wee break, once back London has Strong in a chin loack and attempts a
suplex, Strong manages tae block it but and he sends London tae the apron.
Strong connects wi a buttefly back breaker, this gets aner near fall. Strong is
kicking London in the corner, then he geez him a chop. Strongs punching fuck
oot London, then Strong goes for a back breaker but London escaped and chopped
him a few times. London connects wi a float over but Strong elbys him and sends
him inty the ring post. Strong hits a bow and arrow, a modified yin, he does
this using the ring post, and the ref geez him a wee row. Strong kicks Londons
back and the refs on his case again. Strong gets London in a waist lock, tae
dae further damage tae Londons sare ribs and back. London geez Strong some
elbys, they both go for a cross body and baith are laid oot. The boays exchange
foreairms, Strong adds some chops in there anaw. London kicks Strong, Strong
goes tae charge for London in the corner, but misses. London connects wi a
lovely belly to belly suplex followed by a coupla clotheslines. London then
lands on his feet oan a back body drap, London connects wi a drapkick. London
yer some man by the way. Some man indeed. Strong then backs the bold London
inty the corner and hits him wi some shooders. Strong then runs inty some boots
fi London, but Strong then connected wi a drop kick, this stopped a springboard
attempt fi London, shame. London hits a
dropsault and a flip dive ontae Strong, braw. London then connected wi a
springboard drop kick, this got him a near fall. Strong backs yon London inty
the corner again, and elbys him. Strong then pulls London aff the turnbuckles
and hits a back breaker. Nearly a 3. I was beeling. Strong gets London up oan
his shooders, but luckily London elbows the cunt and got oan the turnbuckles.
Strong geez London a chop then hits an enzuigiri then a braw superplex, yet
aner near fall. Some match btw. Just waw. Strong gets London in the Stronghold,
he counters this wi a wee rollup. London attempts a superkick but Strong
catched him insteed. Strong goes for a wee back breaker but London knees him in
the dome insteed. Strong hits London wi a foreairm and he gets London on his
shooders once again for Death By Roderick, London counters it but wi a double
stomp, London almost gets three. Strong and London then exchange foreairms wi
some chops here and there. London geez Strongs back some grief wi a few
foreairms. Strong attempts a clothesline but missed and London delivers a
belter of a super kick and follows this up wi a front driver, nearly got three
again. London then pulls Strong inty the corner he went up tap for a shooting
star press but Strong goes tae the apron. London attempts a double stomp on the
apron but Strong gets tae the flare afore London can dae it. Strong connects wi
a half nelson back breaker oan the apron. He then hits the Death By Roderick
and the Sick Kick, but somehow London manages tae kick oot, whit a guy. I
honestly thought that was it. Strong attempts a Gibson Driver but London is
like eh naw and manages tae counter it inty a rollup. Aner near fall. Strong
connects wi a jumping knee and a Gibson Driver but yet again London kicks oot.
Yass. Strong locks in the Stronghold on London, but he gets tae the ropes.
London manages tae kick Strong away and he goes tae the apron. The boays kick
each er a wee bit. London connects wi a heed scissors and then hits a fucking
beautiful tombstone piledriver oan the ootside, aye, better than Takers, aye, I
said it, wit yi gonnae dae? London rolls Strong back inty the ring and connects
wi a double stomp tae the back, the right way, no a botchy way like some
people. London then makes his way up tap and connects wi that truly glorious
shooting star press of his and that gets him the 1,2,3
I've
got a new match of the year every week, I just get excited and cry anyhin the
best, but in all seriousness this was match of the year, easily. In terms of
wrastlin and storytelling this was the very best. There is absolutely nothing
that could possibly come close to beating it. Anytime London is signed to
appear at ROH he just brings so much tae the company, he goes in that ring and
he creates art, cause that's what it is, that's what he does, his wrestling
paints lovely pictures. It's everything i'm inty and more. If you watch this
match and don't instantly become a fellow London mark then yer a dafty. The
storytelling was just truly amazing in this. I honestly shouldny be even
writing this cause truth be telt I don't have the words tae describe how truly
wonderful it was to watch this match. It was an absolute pleasure tae watch.
I'd have done anything to be there in person. All I'm gonnae say is please give
this match a wee watch, my words simply areny enough.
